Immersion Cartridge Heaters for Liquid Applications:
For liquid immersion heating applications, we advise the use of brass or stainless steel threaded bushings.
The size of the threaded bushing is precisely matched according to the pipe diameter. Available specifications include
G thread, NPT thread, and BSPP thread , among others.
Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Cartridge Heaters:
1. Create a precise hole in the section to be heated.
2. Ream a smooth hole for optimal contact and enhanced heat transfer
3. Extend the hole through the section to facilitate easy removal of the unit when necessary.
4. If making a through hole is not feasible, increase the hole size within the acceptable tolerances
5. Minimize vibration and flexing of the lead wires to extend the service life
6. Prevent liquid contamination by protecting the heater's end
When ordering Cartridge Heaters, please provide the following details: :
1. Type of Cartridge Heater (please refer to Termination Options)
