Mica strip heater is made of mica insulation with nickel chrome heating wire, stainless steel as sheath. It uses electric heating (NiCr 2080 wire) to heat-up the external surface of drums or pipes and high quality mica material insulated.

Mica heaters are efficient and economical solutions to the heating requirements of many applications.

Mica heaters can attain a maximum sheath temperature of 900°F, but with different electrical termination styles, clamping mechanisms, and ability to accommodate holes and cutouts, It is often used in plastic machinery, package printing, petrochemical, electronic equipment and other industries.
