Self-regulating PTC Element Cartridge Heaters contain a ceramic element with a positive temperature coefficient.
The primary characteristic of these PTC cartridge heaters is self-regulation: they operate at their peak efficiency at low temperatures and decrease their consumption as the temperature rises. Self-regulation makes it possible to forgo temperature controls as well.

The PTC cartridge heater can be used in the open air or completely submerged in liquids.
