Far-infrared ceramic heaters, commonly known as ceramic heaters, utilize high-quality materials such as silicon and quartz glass, which can withstand temperatures up to 1800°C. These heaters feature a spiral Cr20Ni80 resistance wire embedded within the ceramic conductor. They generate heat through both conduction and radiation, offering significant penetrating power.
Ceramic heaters operate within a temperature range of 300°C to 700°C (572°F - 1292°F), emitting infrared wavelengths between 2 and 10 microns. This range is ideal for most plastics and various other materials, making ceramic heaters the most popular infrared radiant emitters on the market.
