Threaded bushings are sized to match pipe diameters. Available specifications include
G thread, NPT thread, and BSPP thread , among others.
Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Cartridge Heaters:
1. Initiate by crafting a meticulously measured hole in the intended heated section.
2. Carefully ream the hole to ensure a smooth surface for optimal contact, enhancing heat transfer and efficiency.
3. Extend the hole completely through the section to enable effortless removal of the heater unit when necessary.
4. If a through hole isn't feasible, enlarge the hole size within permissible tolerances for best fit.
5. Reduce vibration and minimize flexing of the lead wires to maximize the service life of the heater.
6. Guard against liquid contamination by ensuring the heater's ends are well-protected.
When ordering Cartridge Heaters, please provide the following details :
1. Specify the type of Cartridge Heater (refer to Termination Options for guidance).
2. Accurately measure the Diameter of the Cartridge Heater for a perfect fit.
3. Indicate the overall length of the straight Cartridge Heaters.
4. List the specific Wattage and Voltage requirements.
5. State the Type of Lead (glass fibre / PTFE) and specify the lead length for your application.
