Termination Options:
1. Swaged-in Flexible Leads:
Recommend swaged-in flexible leads with silicone-fiberglass insulation for applications requiring lead bending at the heater exit point.
A standard length of 250mm is provided unless a different length is specified
(10 in.)
leads are supplied.
Heaters measuring 150mm
(6 in.)
or shorter typically include a 6mm
(1/4 in.)
no-heat section. For heaters up to 250mm
(10 in.)
a 25mm
(1 in.)
no-heat section is required. Heaters longer than 250mm may necessitate more than a 25mm no-heat section. Please specify when orderingswaged-in flexible leads.
2. Right Angle Leads:
Right angle leads are ideal for applications involving substantial flexing and where space constraints are crucial. Lead wires exit at a 90° angle through the heater sheath.
A right-angle tube may be required for specific constructions. Please specify when orderingright angle leads and desired lead length.
