PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating elements are ingeniously designed for a myriad of applications such as hair dryer curlers, celebrated for their self-regulating heating capabilities and robust safety features that ensure unmatched reliability.
A PTC heating element is meticulously crafted from a high-grade ceramic material characterized by a positive temperature coefficient. This sophisticated design ensures that its resistance escalates as temperature rises. Consequently, as the element warms, the resistance intensifies, reducing the current flow. This self-regulating trait is pivotal for maintaining a stable temperature, thus averting overheating, making PTC heaters the perfect choice for hair styling tools.
PTC heating film advantages:
1. Safety
2. Upon achieving power stability, it consistently emits a steady temperature.
3. Maintains consistent power levels
4. Autonomously controls temperature
5. Operates over a vast voltage range from 12V to 240V
6. Adaptable dimensions available
PTC heating film is extensively utilized across diverse applications such as hair permanent clamps, hair curlers, facial saunas, heat-retention plates, electric mosquito repellents, therapeutic devices, hot melt glue guns, and various other automatic heat retention systems.

Notice:
1) The surface temperature is selectable within the range of 50ºC~280ºC, with a typical tolerance of ±7ºC. The rated voltage spans 3V~400V, accommodating both AC and DC. Customized shapes are feasible.
2) To achieve rapid temperature elevation and higher heating power, multiple PTC pellets are assembled to form a larger unit.
PTC heater with shell
A PTC heater encapsulated within a shell features one or more PTC stones, paired with dual aluminum or stainless steel plates as electrodes, and meticulously encased in insulating material within a specially crafted aluminum shell. This design is tailored for autonomous heating within restricted spaces, such as the interiors of electronic equipment, eliminating the need for auxiliary temperature control devices. This type of heater is lauded for its high efficiency, reliability, safety, and ease of use.
