Mica band heater with thermocouple for industrial plastic extruder
Mica band heaters are made of nickel chrome resistance ribbon precisely wound on specially selected mica sheet. It is then insulated and covered by metal sheathing and rolled to the required shape.
Band heaters are designed for cylindrical shaped solids. It grips tightly to cylindrical surfaces to supply uniform heat transfer, critical to the heater life. Ideal for every type of plastic processing equipment.
